Liz Gill Neilson is Co-Creative Director and co-owner of The Beauty Shop, a Portland, Oregon, brand and interactive design agency dedicated to creating understanding and clarifying purpose.
A branding and interactive designer, printmaker, and painter, Liz has degrees from Columbia University in NYC (Visual Arts) and Pacific Northwest College of Art (Communication Design). She collaborates with her husband, composer Duncan Neilson, on their music/art/video project, Planetudes.
Liz is also a co-founder of the Natural Resonance Festival, a virtual festival of music, art, poetry, film, and performance inspired by nature, now in its third year. She has served on the advisory boards of VISIBLE, a project of The Beauty Shop that promotes access to design services to underserved groups, and OK You, a non-profit seeking to change the story of anxiety for kids and families.
